Program Cancellations

and Changes

Dear friends, 

We want you to know that we are committed supporting you in these difficult times. We, all around the world, are collectively as a community going through challenging circumstances. It is a good time for caring and introspection, Concern about each others’ safety, health, physical, and mental well-being is how we can be helpful and caring presences. Therefore, taking necessary precautions as an individual is the most responsible thing to do and being aware of each other and who might be in need.  Maybe some of you are sitting at home worrying . But if you look back at history, this is not the first time humans been through something like this, and this will not be the last. We always get it together and back stronger than ever as a community.

While we are most of the day stuck in a house, it is easier for us to follow poor habitual patterns to deal with family drama or loneliness. The purpose of the Blue Lotus sangha is to find the inner strength and compassion in these hard times. Therefore, lets all take time to breathe, put everything into perspective. This is the impermanence we talked about in the dhamma room time and time again. It is time to practice in whatever tradition you are in. Be aware of your thought patterns. Always be mindful, be kind. Begin with yourself and then to others.  Make your house and heart your temple, church, synagogue, meditation center or a mosque according to your beliefs.  As an effort to connect, share love, compassion, and practice as a group, we are going to facilitate our regular times via ZOOM.  Please follow the direction; join and share your experience.
